Barbour Runabout

Vintage 1960's Barbour 16 foot wooden boat with original motor and trailer. I bought this boat from a Estate sale about 15 years ago. It was about 75% restored. I planned to finished it but it got put on the back burner and never touched. I lost my inside storage several years ago. It was tarped which disintegrated over time causing water damage mostly to the upper deck. It is pretty well dry rotted. Boat has a lot of dry rot in different places throughout. The motor had been completely gone through and is an excellent runner. I have not started it in several years but see no reason for anything to be wrong with it. I have never had the boat in the water. The upholstery was all newly reupholstered when I got it. I could find only what is shown in the photos. Both front windshields are good and open and close as they should. The clear plastic windows in the top.... sides and back panel are all brittle and cracked. The tires hold air but are dry rotted so bring your own at time of pick up. The steering and controls work as they should. The wiring for most of the accessories needs to be reconnected. The trailer is tilt and I do not know if the lights work. I am starting the bid out at less than just the motor is worth. Please know that this is a PROJECT boat that I hope someone has the knowhow to restore it. I have the registrations for both trailer and boat. They were both signed off and left open.
