Here you are looking at a 1997 Baha 260. This is a mid-cabin boat which are pretty hard to find on the east coast. The front of the boat is a bowrider style. The mid cabin has a stereo, porta potti as well as two lounges that are big enough to sleep.The woman who purchased this boat earlier this past season loved this boat. She quickly came to realize that it was the wrong type of boat for the type of boating her and her fiance did. They started taking more weekend trips (local) and wanted something more comfortable with a/c, cooking galley, etc.It has been a rack/trailer baby all of its lift with never having been bottom painted. It did at one point have hullspeed paint applied. This is only under the boat at the point where the boat is in the water while while up on plane, at speed. It reduces friction and adds a few mph and overall fuel economy. She did mention that the boat wasn't idling correctly. She did say that her fiance completed a tune up and soon after the boat had this problem. It's probably something that was done incorrectly, a crossed wire, bad plug, etc.This boat was mostly always used in freshwater. Winch cable replaced with heavy duty (safer) 20,000lb strap in place of the winch cable. Were told everything else works. Few small cracks on plastic fender, cosmetic. It has brakes, she said she was pretty sure they were working. I finally got the ok to have someone look at it to as per the owner. I kicked myself a bit when he found 3 broken spark plugs (cracked porcelain-installed with the wrong type of socket he said) and 2 of the spark plus wires were laying in the bilge. He did not run the boat because it is going to be 19-23 degrees in this area tonight and just about as cold the rest of the weekend into next week. The engine is currently winterized.I'm not sure if this is the culprit but sounds like it very well could be. The owner told me the problem with it "idling" happened immediatelyafter her fiancecompleted a "tune-up".
