There was a gouge in the front starboard side of the boat when I first got it. It was about 1 x 2. I had it professionally repaired at a boat shop near me.
While at that shop they replaced a couple of the rollers on the trailer.
Trailer received all of the following work 2017/18
New tires
New bearings
New axle
New spare tire
New winch fall of 2019
New LED brake/run lights
The wiring for the trailer is currently run externally, to make it look neater it could be run inside the trailer.
Mechanically this boat is sound. We have a blast on it whenever we go out and cruise the lake with it. Im always getting stopped by people wondering about the boat. I have gotten it to a very good and reliable ride. The next step was to do the interior and exterior but I currently have too many projects and need to downsize. My loss is your gain. At the end of last season I had the marina do a complete tune up on it, after I picked it up I cruised the lake for about 2 hours and then pulled it out and winterized it. I have been so busy this summer that I just got it out of storage and un-winterized it. She fired right up with no problem.
The seats are in good shape except for 2 of them, when owned by the previous owner an animal got into it during the winter and chewed a couple corners up. I covered the holes with brown duct tape and run it like that. If I remember correctly Aristocraft offers the replacement seat set for $900.The soft top is original (as far as I know) and is fraying/ripped in a couple spots at the aft connections. still use it to cover the boat in the winter and when trailering wherever we go.
The sliding hard top works like it should I got 2 new side windows from aristocrat and installed them. Ive never taken the top off of the boat. Its either all the way forward or slid partially back.
I have a title for the boat and I have a title for the trailer.
The boat is currently in Midlothian, Illinois.
Within the next week Ill be moving it to Valparaiso, Indiana.
