I purchased this boat from a classic boat dealer 5 months ago while my wood commuter boat was being refinished in Michigan. This boat arrived in remarkable condition. After the hull and accessories were thoroughly polished, I had the 1961 Mercury 800 outboard completely gone through by professional mechanic that is experienced in classic outboards. The motor was thoroughly cleaned then tuned, fluids changed, replaced plugs, points, condensers, coils all with correct Mercury parts. We also replaced the control cables and adjusted the control system and steering.Additionally, the electrical system was inspected and minor corrections made.The boat includes two correct Mercury 6 gallon gas cans with correct fuel line. Also included is a full as new mooring cover and snap in side windows. What's cool about this boat is that it arrived to me unmolested. No previous owner holes drilled. All original accessories were on the boat and in great condition and in working order. This boat starts on the first turn, runs strong and turns heads like no other boat I've owned.
