ArenaCraft Bonito 17

We are the second owner of this boat. We purchased it in 1971 from the original owner who purchased it from the Arena family in Richmond, CA in 1961. It has only been in fresh water and garaged or car-ported all of its life. This is one of the early fiberglass boats, copying the early wood boats, with classic inboard styling and chrome on brass fixtures. The engine has been upgraded from the original Interceptor series of engines from a 256 cu.in. to a 292 cu.in. These engines are identical using all the same components while increasing the cu.in. and the amount of horsepower. The manifolds have been replaced and the fuel pump has recently been rebuilt. The gas tank has been recently cleaned out and sealed internally. I have two new rebuild kits for the carburetor which need the accelerator pumps replaced. The engine is in good running condition. I have various extra spare parts including: a fuel pump, propeller, ignition parts, wheel bearings and seals for the trailer, and more. The fiberglass hull is in good shape as the boat was always anchored off of the beach so the keel is in great shape.
