AMT Marine Diesel Work Boat - Personnel Ferry

MV 'Pegasus', YAG 651, ex-Royal Canadian Navy (1985)

This vessel was purchased directly from Canadian Gov't storage for use in a film, and is now surplus to requirements. A full dry land marine survey was conducted in March 2014, and minor interior corrective work completed by the shipyardprior toits return to the water last month. The vessel is currently moored dockside in Campbell River, B.C., Canada - and prospective buyers should be aware that VHF, HF/SSB, depth sounder, radar, lifesaving equipmentetc. were all removed by the government prior to sale, any or all of whichmay need to be present before any under-power voyage is undertaken according to Maritime Law. MV Pegasus was used as a personnel ferry in Navy yards on both coasts, and regular maintenance was carried out until the vessel was removed from the water a couple of years ago for dry land storage. Basic specifications below:
