Classic 28ft x 10 wide custom Marinette by Aluminum Cruisers, Inc. Built originally as a Marlin Fisher for a Florida owner in 1974. It had a "tuna tower" on the top but now it's just a great sundeck. It is 100% aluminum, hull and deck so its super light and super strong. You can walk anywhere on the gunwale or front deck without concern as in glass or wood boats.I am selling this on a consignment basis for the owner who started the restoration with the engines, steering, v-drives...all the mechanical, and then did the upholstery to the highest marine standards of materials and workmanship. $30k+ and several years later, he began feeling more of his age and thought he had better enjoy the boat a little so it spent 2 years on Flat Head Lake in Montana gaining a reputation as the fastest boat on the lake. The marina that did the motor work clocked it in excess of 45mph and it was still climbing. Lot's of horsepower, direct shaft drive and being very light, around 5000 lbs or so, makes it fly. That low weight makes it easy to trailer too...and the aluminum "I" beam, tandem trailer is included. I found out how cool this trailer is. It actually floats because it's aluminum so you float the trailer slightly on the launch and drive the boat between the guide poles and clip it to the winch. Then pull out and the boat centers itself effortlessly. I can attest to this as I personally put the boat in the water to demo it and to take the video on 7/30/15. This boat runs down the lake great. Here's the link to the video taken just a few days ago. https://youtu.be/o99dYJ-OLdc (You may have to copy and paste this into your browser to watch it)Twin Chrysler 225hp, both rebuilt.
