Albin Vega 27. Designed by Pers Brohal who's aim in life was to built affordable and stable sailing boats for all. Pers was also one of the first designers to embrace GRP as a new building material, and along with renowned Swedish builder Albin Marine, they produced around 3500 of them.

Excellent sailing capabilities, shallow draft and a ballast ratio approaching 40%, these are safe stable craft with a good turn of speed. They are popular the world over and have been involved in numerous circumnavigations and adventures in extreme conditions. In 2012, a 36 year old Vega completed a 27,077 mile solo circumnavigation of North and South America, which is testament in itself to the durability and performance of these super craft.

The engine starts and runs well. THe transmission is a straight shaft transmission. Sails are older but serviceable. There are 3 jibs, 2 mainsails. Sale includes a working tiller pilot.Good sailboat for a young person who wants a great boat that needs cosmetic work.The hull needs polishing and the bottom needs paint.The deck was painted 5 years ago and needs to be redone.
