Up for auction is my 1997 Albin 28' TE. She's powered by a 300hp 6.5L GM Peninsula diesel engine that runs perfect. At 1,200 hours "currently has 1,215 hours" she just received a full PM which includes full synthetic oil change, coolant flush, transmission fluid change and oil/fuel filters replaced. I also replaced the raw water pump "new" and alternator at service. Four new batteries where installed at the beginning of the season. PM service is done every 100 hours. Very clean running engine. She also has auto pilot and the optional bow thruster. Good Low profile windless is two years old.
"Trailer is NOT included"
Full Specs of the vessel is listed in the last picture. Most pictures are recent and the oldest ones are no more than 60 days old.
Single screw engine with keel/skeg performs great in all sea conditions. Cruises at 20 mph and only burns 7.5 gallons an hour and will top out 28 mph with the four blade prop. She has over a 300 mile range with her 132 fuel tank.Manual head with maceration pump, AC/Heat works great and currently winterized as well as the fresh water system. The boat is still in the water and doesn't come out for another week or two. I do have a engine heater that turns on at 40 degrees and shuts off at 65 degrees for added protection but the water temp is still above 50.She's a turnkey boat ready to go. If you are not familiar with the 28' Albin please feel free and google the boat, you can also view many videos on you tube. You will not read one bad review on them. One of the best selling 28' boats of all time. Excellent rough water boat. What needs to be addressed:-Hot water heater needs to be replaced. Never used it because I'm a day sailor. -Radar dome is in place but over the winter before I covered her the Garmin head unit magically disappeared. She does have a secondary unit Garmin GPS/Fishfnder also. She also comes with a custom heavy duty winter cover. -Packing shaft should be tighten, has a steady drip. -Bow Rail, a while back the front of the bow rail was bent, so I decided to remove the whole rail and was going to replace is with a teak border to give her an updated look which never happened. "Starting bid reflects on this alone" New unit installed is around $2500 or used I see them for $100 and up.Bidding: The boat is in water and ready for inspection/sea trial. Please do not bid and want to do a sea trial. Do your sea trial/inspection prior to bidding. Once you win the auction, you won the boat. classifieds board makes it very difficult at times to get refunds and I don't want to deal with it. So I'm more than happy to take anyone for a spin/sea trial before they bid. Do not bid if you do not have the funds available. Don't bid if you have to ask your wife/girlfriend first. Talk it over with them prior to bidding, when you transport boats for a living you see this issue comes a lot. Its always nice to consult with your better half so you don't end up sleeping in the boat.....Boat is sold as is where is.The bidding will start at $30k with no reserve. If you look up this model, some are asking almost twice as much for the year and model. I will not let her go for anything less so please no negotiating. I know what I have and in spring I could sell her for a lot more.
Transport: I really didn't want to sell her but I'm in the middle of purchasing new equipment "another Hydraulic boat trailer as seen in the picture" for my business and don't like having monthly payments. I'm a commercial boat hauler so transport isn't an issue, the trailer you see in the picture is a hydraulic boat trailer with air ride suspension and cost $75k new so obviously it does not come with boat. I do have a used Hostar 30' hydraulic trailer with air ride suspension that I would sell for $25k in addition to the boat, unless you haul boats for a living that would be one expensive trailer to have. Transport fees will vary depending on where you would like her delivered. We are fully insured and legal commercial boat haulers. You will get a great discount on transport because this is my personal boat. You may also get your own transporter but he must be properly insured and a legal motor carrier. I want to make sure you get the boat safe and secured. She must be paid in full and payment cleared before leaving the marina. I will have the engine winterized if requested for no charge. I can have the boat stored at the marina for the winter for an additional $1500.00. I usually take her to my yard for the winter but I'm not properly insured for boat storage.Location: The boat is in the water in Edgewater, NJ 07020 which is 1.5 miles south of the George Washington Bridge in between New Jersey and New York City on the Hudson River. Water is brackish where she is docked. If I go north a few miles she turns into fresh water and south is salt water. Shes docked at a secured marina with coded gates so I must be present.

Would like to schedule a visit and a sea trial to include an engine oil analysis at my expense. I live near Annapolis, MD and have sufficient funds to bid on the vessel if it is still available. Please advise. Thanks.
