Very low reserve!!!I purchased this boat a few years back with full intentions on completely refitting this boat a bit a at a time, all while using it for fishing and cruising. I bought it as a project boat. It had been sitting after the previous owner got the boat stuck on a piling and cracked the gunwale on the port side. I ground away the damage and refiberglassed most of it. It does need to be finished. There was no damage below the waterline. Only around the rubrail area. I was planning on havibg the boat wrapped with a custom vinyl wrap. The boat was put up on land and left for a few years after owner got sick I was told. The boat was winterized before it sat.The engines are 5.7L volvo penta and are fresh water cooled. I was told that the engine blocks were replaced in 2008. The port side runs fine-other than a squeaking alternator belt. The stb engine runs fine as well, however does have an oil leak which will need to be addressed. I believe it to be a bad oil line (rubber line). The engines are midship in this boat and are equipped with jackshaft driveshafts to the outdriveunits. The jackshafts were removed a few years back and gone through, as well as the outdrive, new bellows, reverse lockouts, etc. The props weren't great when I bought the boat but are usable. I was planning on a new set, just haven't gotten to it yet. The fuel tanks were drained/cleaned and pressure tested. All good to go. The hydraulic steering helm was also removed and rebuilt due to a leaking oring. The previous owner had removed a few of the hardware pieces, handles, rodholders and had planned on replacing them before he got sick.I do not have the original pieces. As I mentioned, this boat will need some work, but is an absolute tank of a fishing boat. It weighs almost 10k lbs!!! However, it has plenty of power and is fast! All of the cockpit wood/teak trim was carefully removed, labeled, cleaned, sanded and stainedthen reinstalled. It does look good but will probably need another simple coat in the spring to really make it pop. Most of it was all put back together however there are a few pieces that still need to be reinstalled.I have not used the boat much at all this season due to work, etc so the bottom will need a good cleaning. Also, the yellow stains around the water line will clean right off. There is also a large fishbox in the rear of the boat. It was a very nice factory upgrade years ago.Project boat, but WELL worth it!!! These are very similar to the Carolina 28. Incredibly stable, fast, and more than enough room!!I do have the ability to use a friend's trailer. So I may be able to deliver the boat to a boat ramp or a marina. Please contact me prior to the end of the auction to discuss.Got an incredible deal on a sport fishing style boat and pulled the trigger. So if I do decide to keep this boat I know it's just going to either sit in the water or sit on the trailer. I would rather see it get finished!! This is why I have decided to put it up for sale.
