Aerojet Multiple Acoustic Device Serial #001,made in the late 1900's, this maybe Aerojets first sonar, the prototype. Approx: 55 x 32 in, handle approx: 30 in., There are surface scratches on top.The top maybe made of fiberglass and molded in an oval shape to tread the waters. The Aerojet has fins located ti the back of the device. For ease of lifting there is a hook close to the top and an access compartment just ahead of the hook( you can see the screws). The handle I gather is for ease of pulling as well as for the electrical control hook-ups. Seems to be propelled by electrical hook-ups, each bottom tube has movable baffles and propelled by a circular fan blade system. You can see the electrical conduit has it enters the Acoustic part of the body.The device seems to be in good condition but I can't tell you if it works are not or how it terminates to the main controls. I have tried to contact Aerojet in the California area for info by phone and email but to no avail. I purchased the item from an antique dealer.
