Interesting little boat. Deep hull. Rated for 235 hp. Unable to track down year. Have included photo's of ID plate. Bought it to clean up and use. Deep hull. Note weight and horsepower rating. Love to bring her back to usable but.. too many projects. Rated for 235 hp. Given the engine compartment size immediately thought small block... but my ambitions always exceed my time. Positive things... solid hull. Engine turns over freely. Tilt/trim works. Starter sounds good. Has all glass, glass frames, walk through door, accessories and woodwork. Has new carburetor not installed. Downsides. Needs floor. Has serviceable paint but ugly. Has serviceable upholstery but also ugly. Good trailer. Tires good tread but old.Such an interesting and unusual boat I would love to clean her up but just don't have the time to do her justice. From my research Sidewinder was a racing boat company. Traded hands several times Glasstron apparently stole one of Sidewinder's hull designs and coughed up something around a couple million for the pleasure. I have not had it running nor in the water. Only other similar Sidewinder I have found was an 18' version for sale. It looks like a unique and fun little boat. Any questions? Just let me know. Thanks for looking.
