2000 Velocity 280 *No Reserve*

Up for sale is my Velocity 280. The boat has been indoor stored since owned, 2007. The vinyl is all original and in great condition. The overall condition of this boat is very good to excellent with 303.8 hours on it. The boat has not been used in over four years and I'm tired of paying for indoor storage on something I don't use. The boat ran perfect before being stored and should fire right up. I would turn the engine over for a second or two every couple months to keep the rings and valves from sticking.The Good - The boat has many upgrades including: Sidemount Whipple Supercharger with intercooler, Marine Machine steering, Stainless Marine water strainer, Mercruiser High Performance exhaust with captains call, ARP head studs with MLS head gaskets, labbed 30 inch Bravo One prop. Custom Loadmaster trailer with storage. This boat runs low 80's.The Bad - The boat has a wet transom that will need to be replaced. It appears that the swim platform was not properly sealed from the factory and allowed water to rot the transom. This is not a cheap repair, ~$5000+ if you have someone do the work for you, which is why I am discounting the boat so heavily. These boats typically list for $30k+, especially one in this nice of condition. The gas will probably need to be drained as well as it has been sitting in the boat for 4+ years.This is great opportunity to get into a fast, good looking powerboat for very little money. This boat always gets a lot of compliments and surprises a lot of boats on the water with its speed. You will not be disappointed when you see this boat.
