20' Shamrock

This is a beautiful 20' Shamrock cuddy-cabin boat. Built in Cape Coral, FL in 1981, this boat is a classic design that is highly sought after by collectors. Shamrock is no longer building boats in the Fort Myers/Cape Coral area.- Hull is in great shape without soft spots and has newer gel-coat.- The unique design of this locally built boat, with a small keel and deep-v hull, allows a versatility like none other - this boat is great inshore and for the beaches as it only draws 18"! It is also very stable and solid and can handle the chop of being far off shore. The high sides and deep cockpit make this a great family boat even with young kids, while at the same time this boat is perfect for fishing or diving.- The engine is a 1997 GM 5.7L 350cc V8 250hp. This engine needs work, it won't start - currently it cranks but won't fire and there seems to be a problem with some of the cylinder's compression. I don't have the time or resources to pursue the engine problems further at this time.- Within the past 2 months I have changed the oil and installed new fuel/water filter, spark plugs, ignition coil, new wires/cables for the starting system and put in a new starter and solenoid.- The two 30 gallon gas tanks (60 gallon capacity total) are newer as well.- Upgraded propeller shaft to handle the torque of a larger engine- Perfectly functioning trim tabs with new control panel switch.- All lights and electronics work well on the boat operated from a control panel on the helm.It also comes with:- A single-axel bunk trailer- Two marine batteries with a battery switch- A sunbrella canvas bimini top (in great condition) with stainless hardware- A full size sunbrella canvas cover for the whole boat- Two custom canvas cushions converting the engine housing into bench seats- Marine CD player and radio (just would need to install speakers - wiring is already in place)- Will include some life jackets and dock lines among other things for the boat and trailer..- Clean title includedThis is a great boat and I am sad to let it go. With a new baby and full time job I simply don't have the time or resources to spend looking into and repairing (or replacing) the engine at this time.These Shamrock boats hold their value well.
