1996 Cape Horn, 2021 Yamaha 70 Four Stroke, 1996 Aluminum Performance TrailerThe boat has been completely redone top to bottom. The hull sides and interior were painted with Awlgrip, the hull sides were clear coated with 4 coats of EMC clear coat. The floor was removed only between the stringers to install fuel tank under the console (this was done only to situate the tank under the floor, there was/is no rot anywhere). The bottom has been barrier coated, and painted with a trailer friendly Vivid white bottom paint. The boat has never been stored for long periods in the water since the bottom has been painted. It has an AGM group 31 battery, the yamaha is under factory warranty until Oct 2024. The motor and rebuild has only 11-12 hours on it.If you don't know Cape Horn boats, they are build very solidily, and are relatively basic fishing boats that handle very well. The higher gunnels provide a dry ride and they handle the chop like a much larger boat. The transoms are 100% composite and do not rot, this one is probably 2-3 inches thick where the motor attaches.
