1973 Uniflite 36' Double Cabin

The Uniflite 36 Double Cabin was one of the earliest aft cabin designs to incorporate a floorplan featuring a full-width master stateroom. She was a good seller for Uniflite right up to the companys demise in 1984. Built on a solid fiberglass hull with moderate beam, engineering and construction were held to generally high standards. A lower helm was standard, and a stall shower is found in the aft head. Standard 350hp gas engines cruise the Uniflite 36 at 18 knots with a top speed in the high 20s. When Uniflite closed in 1984 Chris Craft picked up the molds and reintroduced her as the 362 Catalina. This extremely clean, spacious, double-cabin in beautiful condition considering her age. She has only been in salt water for 2 years having spent her life in Michigan. Her previous owner meticulously cared for her and her twin 454 big block v8 engines with complete professional installation of almost all new parts. Parts include alternators, belts, plugs/wires, manifolds, risers, gaskets, carbs, cables, and all hoses including exhaust. New Thru-hulls and Zinc. Westerbeke 5K generator. You'll find the decks to be solid. There are new fuel/waterseparators, 4 newbilge pumps and high water alarm. Many spare parts come with the boat. She features two newer 250 gallon fuel tanks whichhave been kept full to avoid water in the fuel issues.Interior: This boat features a forward queen v-berth, dual brand new vacuflush heads, aft head with shower, large galley with 3-burner electric stove and oven, full size dual sinks, a brand new apartment sized residential fridge and freezer as well as a new electric water heater. The underwater zincs where replaced two weeks ago and the bottom paint is in good shape with about another year of quality life. A brand new 12k BTU Marine Air AC unit was installed in the fall. There is custom bead board on the saloon and aft cabin ceilings that makes it very inviting and cozy. The side windows all slide open and the glass is in the process of being replaced with new tinted glass. The galley features dual sinks and decent storage and workspace. The interior is also receiving a fresh coat of paint.Exterior: The upper helm's Bimini is brand new marine grade Sunbrella fabric to provide wonderful shade for all day cruising in the sun. There are 4 brand new modular seats with underneath storage. The bright work shines wonderfully whenever it's polished up. A new railing-mounted propane bbq grill is included with the sale. The upper helm needs some work to make perfect as not all of the gauges are fully functional. The full-width swim platform and ladder are ready for you toanchor in a cove and enjoy the beautiful Florida waters.This boat is truly ready today to be someone's live aboard!
