1964 ULTRA RARE, all original Buehler Turbocraft BIKINI V8 jet boat.

This is one of the very few Buehler Turbocraft BIKINI boats still in existence and probably the only one intact, unrestored with all original seats and paint. For the true collector of vintage boats! Always stored inside and run on fresh water!

Bueher Turbocrafts were one the first jet boats in America. It was famous among celebrities at the time and featured in movies like 007 James Bond Thunderball in the Bahamas. The Bikini model sold here, being the rarest of them all. It is compact versatile ski boat that runs on less than 10 inches of water, equipped with a powerful and lightweight aluminum Buick V8 with a 4 barrel Rochester carburator packaged and marinized by the renowned at the time Gray Marine engines. The water jet was licensed from Hamilton Waterjet in New Zealand with parts and bearings still available from the manufacture, same for the robust Buick Fireball aluminum V8 which license was sold to Land Rover in the UK in the 1960's and manufactured until recently.
