1964 Correct Craft Ski Nautique Boat

I purchased this boat in 1981. It was originally owned by Water Ski Hall of Fame, Lisa St. John. It is 18' fiberglass and powered by a Ford 312, Y-block, Interceptor V-8, 260 HP gasoline engine. The Velvet Drive was factory rebuilt by Midwest Correct Craft in 2003. The original 312 block failed due to running in salt water and an identical block was rebuilt, bored .20 thousandths over and installed in 2012. This boat has not been in salt water since the replacement. The distributor was converted to Pertronix electronicignition with Pertronix Flame Thrower Coil in 2005. It is currently in inside storage and last run in 2021, the Teleflex Morse Drive and Morse Command steering cable was replaced in 2012. The original steel gas tank was replaced with a stainless steel 20 gal. tank with internal baffles in 2010 and a new gas gauge sending unit was installed in 2020. It includes the original wishbone trailer S#3241. The trailer has been updated with a new hitch, new springs, new lighting, wheels are Chevrolet 15 inch, 6 bolt and tire size is 225-75R-15. New wheel rims and spare tire bracket were added in 2020. I have kept a log of service since I purchased which I will include. My only negative issue is that the boat originally did not have spray rails, they were added on and in 2019 they needed to be replaced. One side has been replaced completely and the other has been replaced but needs to be finished with the final fill coat of fiberglass and paint. The original dual sidedraft manifold and carburators were replaced with a modified auto manifold and currently has a 4-bbl Edelbrock Performer Series #1405 600 CFM I still have the original manifold.
