Ive made the decision to part w/ my 1953 13 Feathercraft Skipper, not an easy decision bc I love the design of this particular yearvery industrial & some nice curvatures (Feathercraft originally made airplaneshence the vintage airplane-like nose). The only reason Im selling is bc Im nearly finished redesigning/refinishing a 1970 Boston Whaler 16 7 boat and I still need to park two cars in garageIm keeping (not included) my trolling motor, battery, seats & oars for the restoration of my fathers 10 Jon boat that I can hoist up on garage ceilinga much better contrast to the Whaler & I can have 2 cars inside. The Feathercraft includes a wonderful example of a Tee-nee trailer. I purchased a great set of Tee-nee airplane-style fenders w/ the rare light attachments for it (fenders usually sell 400-600 without light attachments)I havent wired trailer yet but will include my magnetic temporary pigtail lights. Also Im including the vintage flag & some new high-quality Feathercraft decals. Boat is ready for some one to weld a few old screw holes on top edge and either polish or go w/ natural honest patina. I took out a simple distressed old floor, but framing is there for replacement if desired. I used boat last year and checked for any leaks, I was pleased that there was only one very minimal/slow seepage of water, an easy fixI bought some 3M 5200 for applying on underside, and will include w/ purchase. Boat is 4 wide. I put a 316 stainless hitch coupler & 316 chains as wellno future rust expected there. Needs new tires, Ive driven on a 3-hour trip w/ them, but would still recommend getting new ones. Would make a great stylish/minimalist fishing boat, especially for the 10 hp/electric-only lakes. $1,000 Deposit required & cash or cashiers check upon retrieval. Good luck.
