You're bidding on a turnkey boat/motor/trailer setup with two motors that go with it. It's only being sold because I got a bigger boat. Been used regularly since I got it. Firs,t it's a Landau 12foot V hull I bought new back in 1996. Rivets all good, no major leaks. Boat has never been cut or drilled into. Current registration through the year. The drain plug hole is a litte misshapen, but if you tighten the drain plug that goes in it, it seals good. No title on boatTrailer is a LONG brand I also bought new. It has a clear title. Nothing wrong with trailer except the tires are old and cracked but hold air. A brand new spare is included. It's galvanized as well. Bearings greased last year. Registration is long expired. The tralier is very light and can be picked up and moved with ease, even with the boat on it. Any car with a trailer hitch could pull it. The motor is a Ted Williams (Sears Eska) 7 or 7.5hp aircooled outboard motor with a Tecumseh engine. It's noisy and crude and ugly but runs great. Carb rebuilt last year. Has provision for external tank that currently leaks. With one person lightly loaded, the motor pushes the boat along nicely at 80% throttle. Idles well too. It has a water pump in it that cools the lower unit. I have not replaced that. You can always do it if you want, impeller is sold on classifieds board. Just took the boat out recently and motor ran well like it always does. Has a small fuel leak that will need to be sorted out. The other motor is a 1962 Johnson 10hp. I had this motor since I got the boat and have used it until I got the 7hp one a few years back. I've had the boat as fast as 18mph with a little more to go but the strange thing is the faster you go, the bow wants to get lower and starts to plow into the water. I do not know why this happens. Motor in good shape, just missing choke pull. There's a chunk out of the tilt\trim casting as shown in one of the pics. Never bothered me and worked fine. You can still tilt the motor. Water pump was replaced two years ago and has a replacement NOS prop as the original spun its hub. Also included are fuel tank and line. You also get another Johnson 10hp for parts. All major parts are there except for recoil. I think it might have a problem with the lower unit, but I've never needed it for anything. Good for keeping the other motor running for a long time. Boat sold asis where is with no warranties expressed or implied. Buyer to pay in CASH. In order to transfer the title properly, we'll have to get a notary to sign the title over at transaction time. Again, I hate to sell it, but just bought a vintage runabout and have no space for this one. POSSIBLE delivery in central NC for addtional fee. Inquire if interested. Additional pics/info on request. Can store boat for a short amount of time, but must be paid for first.
