NO RESERVE AUCTION; 2002 Monterey 248 LS Montura with Optional 330 H.P. Mercruiser Bravo 3 (Dual Props) Inboard/Outboard. The boat is equipped with the "Captain Call "Exhaust Option. With this option one can select quiet running by exhausting through the prop hubs and thelower unit or through the cockpit electrical selector switch the exhaust can be switched to the dual above the waterline exhausts. This above the waterline exhaust increases the available horsepower by reducing back pressure and provides the deep, distinctive"rumble" sound only produced by highperformance V8's. The 6.2 liter engine produces more horsepower than the 150 lb. heavier and larger 7.4 liter (454) engine which produces 310 H.P. The fuel consumption of this 6.2 liter engine at 3,000 rpms (cruising speed) is 9.0 gallons per hour while the much lower horsepower standard 5.7 liter which produces 260H.P. consumes 8.7 gallons per hour at 3,000 rpms at obviously a lower speed due to the reduced horsepower. The 7.4 liter consumes 12.5 gallons per hour at 3,000 rpms. The bottom lineis the 6.2 liter gives the greatest performance available in this boat with the best fuel economy. The optional Mercruiser Bravo 3 dual prop. optionprovides a significant increase in maneuvering and a better "hole" shot for wakeboards, kneeboards, and water skis.The time from idle to plane is less than 5.7 seconds.This well equipped boat includes;

This is a great all purpose boat that is a very economical cruiser while also being a high performing ski/wakeboard boat. The boat is very well made. The boat has never had bottom paint and has been stored during the season in a boat lift. Oil changes have always been performed using Mobil 1. For this season the boat has a new impeller. The boat is equipped with a simple to use optional centralized winterizing system. The dry weight of the boat is 4,950 lbs. With the extended swim platform the boat is nearly 27' overall length. There are two trailer options that may be available for purchase separately (subject to prior sale). Both are over capacity for this boat but are great trailers. One is an 8,400 GVW dual axle aluminum trailer withgalvanized wheels. The other is a custom steel Eagle 10,000 GVW trailer with chrome wheels.

There are a few minor puncture holes in the rear cockpit sitting area andan approximately 3" long seam split in the rear bench seat. Other than thoseareas the interior is in good condition. The boat has been stored for the winter so it does need a good spring cleaning.
