This is boating at its best!! 1994 Monterey 230 Explorer. INCLUDES 2009 35' Continental Galvanized Steel Tandem Trailer!!! A fresh water boat since day one. Seating capacity is 13 with built in cooler and sink. Has enclosure for bathroom (we have a 4 draw dresser in there now) or used for additional storage. All seating has storage underneath along with a center floor compartment for skis, wake-board and/or tubes.

We have owned the boat for nearly 5 years and have use all over Wisconsin and Lake Michigan. This boat is original and has always been well maintained. Powered by a NEW (2018 installed by Amherst Marine) 4.3 liter Volvo-Penta (GM Block) 225 hp. The out-drive is a Volvo-Penta Duo-Prop. The props are aluminum and comes with a extra set of props.

The engine has been Marina serviced and winterized each season.

I do not know the exact engine hours, as there is no hour meter.

The gel-coat is all-original, the include the hull, cockpit, combing, and gunnels. There are some minor nicks and scratches here and there, as should be expected. This boat has never been run aground. The out drive has never been damaged. The interior, cockpit, console, controls etc... Are in good condition. NEW upholstery winter 2017!

The Bimini top is older but in great shape and will be good for many boating seasons to come. The cover is in good condition and should be good for many seasons as well.

Monterey builds a solid, quality boat and this 25 year old boat is a testament to that.

NADA value dose not take into consideration new motor and new upholstery!!!

Fantastic deck boat! The engine is more than enough to easily pull a large tube or skier. The V-hull handles like a runabout but the deck layout gives the room of a pontoon.

Plenty of room for up to 13 people and still tow a tube of kids!!! Bimini top is in great shape.
