This is a 16 Foot 1961 MFG Westfield Custom, That my father and I rescued from hurricane sandy. One thing that makes this boat unique is its engine mounted electric motor with 55lbs of thrust. It allows you to have forward and rear propulsion using your steering wheel, so you can go 5 knots for up to 10 hours silently using electric only. I did this for two reasons my dad is older and if the main engine broke down on a lake he would have to paddle. With the electric motor he just switches it on at the dash and steers like normal. The other reason was many lakes only allow up to a 9 hp outboard or no fossil fuel engines at all, this boat is a hybrid it is allowed to be used as its electric.I have many great memories using this boat, but I have no time to use it anymore, as it stands it has sat in my driveway unused for two years, It starts right up runs floats and cruises about 25 mph. The batteries are good and hold a charge, but need to be re-installed. The wires and control cables are hanging and need to be reset, and the fuses may need addressing. Its been sitting under cover for two years so it also needs a REALLY good cleaning. The boat comes with the following ALL FUNCTION50hp 2-stroke Evinrude Outboard Motor (130 Compression in both cylinders) new water pump 10-2020 unused60 quart cooler helm chair with flip flop bolsterIn dash VHF radioAM/fm/weather band/ Bluetooth radio and 4 marine speakersmoeller 12 gallon mounted marine fuel tank in bow with fill up top of bow & Gauge on dash.12v EM-55 Minnkota MOTOR MOUNTED ELECTRIC MOTOR (10 hours of propulsion derived from three onboard group 36 marine deep cycle batteries) 3 bank marine battery charger running lightshead lightsstern lightcovertwo extra swivel chairsRod Holders2500 lb single axel trailer (no title but comes with the boat)Hummingbird Dragonfly sonar

Questions
I would like to come look at the boat if possible I’m near the Philadelphia airport
Hello, sadly I will not be purchasing your boat though I would love it. I actually bought an MFG in Colorado and I am currently restoring it. I have a question if you would be able to help me, the question is how did you remove the bow cover? I’m trying to take it off to repaint and freshen it up due to cracks all over. Any help is appreciated, thank you.
