Things it needs
1. New tires on the trailer. The ones on the trailer have dry rotted
2. New cover for the boat - It has a cover but it is pulling apart on thestitches, faded, and some of thesnapsare missing. I have sown it up several times but it is ready for new
3. Re-cock around some of the windows - I noticed just this year some moisture coming in
4. Latch for the sun roof port - we never had one on it and of course you can use it like we did but you should know that it does not have the latchPlease view all the photo's and ask for more if you need me to focus on something I have missed. Cosmetic Changes that you may or may not want to do:
1. I have re-teaked the wood once but you might want to do the outside wood again and replace some of the boards on the end deck
2. Could use a buffing on the blue strip or just replace it.
3. The trailer works fine but it could use a coat of paintSpecial Features::
I had the underside of the boat rubber coated with a sealant to protect it from sitting in the water. This is recommended if you are choosing to leave it in a marina instead of transporting it from home or storage each time. The water can cause bubbles under the fiberglass and ruin your boat. We were thinking to leave it at the marina so I had it done. This is why you see some of the boats at the marina on the lifts in the slips. This keeps the boat up out of the water for the same reason. The lefts are expensive compared to just protecting the boat. We don't smoke, It has only had one prior owner and I do not think they smoked because I never picked up any smoking evidence, like burns or smells
We purchased the boat from a reputable boat dealer here in town who was selling it for a customer who had been a long time customer. The gentleman had passed away and the wife no longer wanted to keep the boat.
Since we purchased the boat in 2010 we used it 3 or 4 times. It was not by choice. After purchasing the boat our lives took a different direction and finding the time to get to the lake become achallenge.
The boat was well maintained by us each year and it certainly had been maintained well by the prior owner.I have the boat on a lot in town for sale. Easy to see and ask questions. The boat is located where getting tires replaced is at quick access and the lake is only 8-10 miles from the lot.Since I am not a boat dealer and this was just our personal boat you will get no warranty. Please check the boat out before you make the purchase and be aware that there could be one or two issues as each year I would find things that needed to be done just to keep it in good lake condition. The batteries were purchased new last year but they may need charged. Rubber boots replaced on it the year before last and I had the dealer go over the boat to make sure all was in good condition. I believe the plugs were replaced as well. This is a used boat it comes with some scratches and shows some use and wear. For it's age you can see by the photo's it is in lovely condition and ready for the next owner. I think there is one or two very small tears in theupholsterybut it is hard to find much wrong on the inside of the boat.... Again for the age it is in very good condition.I am not sure I have called everything by the proper terms. Such as the Motor. It could be an in inboard outboard. I am not sure I know thedifference. My Title says the boat is a 20 ft but it always has felt bigger then that. So I will ???? if this is correct. So if you have questions Please let me know and if you can clue me on anything that is fine too.I hope I have not over looked some major description item here. If you have questions please email me and I will get you the answerOnce you have made the decision to purchase the boat you need to make payment arrangements with me. The title is at the same location as the boat. You have to pass the court house to get to the lake so if you need to do any title work for your insurance it is a quick stop on your way to the water. After the purchase is completed the boat is yours and there is no return policy for this sale.BOAT IS HERE AND YOU WILL HAVE TO PICK IT UP HERE KENTUCKY, JAMESTOWN ONBEAUTIFULLAKE CUMBERLAND and NEAR DALE HOLLOW LAKE.NO RESERVE PRICE and WILL CONSIDERREASONABLEOFFERSTHANKS FOR LOOKING
