This boat was purchased new by the State of Missouri. It was rotated out of service and sold at auction where it made it's way east and into a New York marina's storage facility where it sat, never used, until I purchased it last spring to use on my family's vacations in New Hampshire. The boat is registered in NH and will convey with it's, nationally accepted NH State Registration. Like RI and many New England States, New Hampshire does not title boats over ten years old, though every state recognizes their registration as a title - transfer document. I purchased the hull from the NY marina added the marina maintained Mariner 125 and update the hydraulic power steering unit. The boat needs little more than a detailing, if you are so inclined, before being used this season. The hull is in great condition with solid floors and transom. There are a two scratches, about 3 inches in length that are just through the gelcoat but they are well above the waterline and could be repaired as-new in a couple of hours time in the off season. I will post pictures of the two, one on either side, that were likely caused during docking. The boat has been washed with soap and water, the finish that you see on the hull is without buffing, waxing or detailing; this boat cleans up very nicely thanks to never being in salt water. The Mariner 125 was my motor from my previous boat that I had mounted and serviced on the McKee Craft. As a part of the re-powering I had the mechanics upgrade/update the power steering system and it steers as smooth as silk. The motor is clean strong and has low hours. Compression is an even 102 psi on all four cylinders. The photos speak for themselves as to how well kept this motor has been. The fuel tank has been tested and is in solid condition without any issues. The trailer is a 1995 "titled" trailer with a capacity of 6000 lbs. The trailer is galvanized with new heavy gauge wiring, LED lights, 2" coupler, and a new jack is being added. The trailer capacity is double what is needed for this boat but that's not a bad thing when it comes to boats and trailers. The last photo is of one of the two storage areas inside the dual consoles. This boat is very well thought out.Now as to the question that everyone will ask, "why am I selling it"? I'm selling it because I now have two children in college (out of state) and another that needs braces; we only get "North" once a year these days and my wife wants me to "re-think" my fleet of toys. All valid and fair points but sad none the less. The classifieds board auction just ended for my off-shore saltwater boat and now I'm listing here my fresh water only boat. My wife thinks its a compulsion which is just a bigger word for sickness. This is a great boat; wide, stable, fast and with a great entry. Likely all of the attributes that make McKee Craft the choice of many municipalities and also provides their cult-like following. Look up McKee Craft and see just how much this brand is loved. I'll hopefully own another one day soon, well maybe not that soon as I'll be paying college bills for at least the next eight years. Please ask questions before bidding, but before you ask make certain that you read the posting as most questions are answered right here. The auction will run it's course and the high bidder will win it. I'm starting bidding at $1000 because I believe that people know a good thing when they see it. If you have less that an classifieds board rating of "10" I reserve the right to remove your bid. This is an "as-is", "where-is" sale with no warrantee or guaranty included. Pick-up is in Little Compton, RI 02837. Deposit due within 24 hours vis PayPal and the balance is due in three days.I'm running the auction for only five days in order to allow the boat to be picked up prior to next weekend. I work in Academic Administration, as does my wife, and we are both swamped trying to answer the Governor's call to get students back in the classrooms by 8/31. A large part of why the boat is being sold on classifieds board is because we don't have the time or flexibility to show it to potential buyers through sites like Craigslist or Facebook Marketplace, so please don't ask. If our time was our own we would likely sell it differently and for more money but times are what they are and someone is going to get a fantastic boat and a great deal. Thank you, for understanding. There is no Buy-Now, fair is fair.
