This is a no reserve auction fora used 1993Maxum 2300 SCR aftcabin with a Mercruiser260 hpI/O .The trailer shownIS NOTincluded in the sale.We are listing this boat and representing it in completelyas-isconditionwith noreserve. Please read the ad and view the pictures carefully as this boat will be sold to whoeverhas the high bid at auctions end.We have included123 large pictures below the adto show you as much detailas possible as well as a description of condition. Our description of conditionis based on a brief and casual inspection and is only to help you decide its value. You are welcome to inspect the boat in person if you wish to do so. It is located inOld Saybrook, Ct, 06475 and is available anytime by appointment.

ThisMaxum is in fair condition overall but will need engine work. We started the engine on the hose and it has good oil pressure buthas a knocking noise and will not idle well. It pumps water well and runs at proper temperature. The oil in the engine is still gold and clean. The outdrive is only three seasons old we were told and works perfect. It shifts in and out of gear well and the power trim/tilt operates as it should. Feel free to inspect in person if interested.

Thetrim tabs, navigation lights, cabin lights,CD stereo radio, VHF radio, fish finder,bilge pump,and mostgauges all work well. The fresh water pump runs but the system is currently drained from winterization. We did not try the onboard battery charger or anything on the 120VAC (shore power) side of the panel. Thereis adual battery set upwith selector switch installed. There is currently only one battery installed. I'm sure some things will need some tinkering as all boats do but we found mostthings to be operational.

Cosmetically the boat looks good but would benefit well from a buff and wax. The gel coat is in good shape other than lightfading with only age appropriate scratches and dings.I'm sure it would buff to ahigh gloss and look great if you spent the time. The bottom has a build up of flaking bottom paint. The decks are solideverywhere on the entire boat. Thehelm seating is very nice and looks recently re-upholstered. The stern seat has some stitching that is coming apart. Thecabin is spacious with the large aft cabin. There is some staining from water leaks on some of the headliner as well as the carpet (see pictures).Please view all123 pictures below this ad to judge the condition yourself.

The trailer shown is NOT included in the sale. It is one of our yard use trailers. We have others used available for $1500.00as well as new aluminummodels for $3000.00 if interested. We will load the boat onto your trailer atno cost if you have your own. We can deliver as well.

We havea state ofConnecticut transferable registrationcertificate for the boatready to transfer ownership.
