I am selling our 2003 Maxum 2400 SC boat. We are the second owner and have owned the boat since the spring of 2009. The boat has served our family very well and tons of great memories have been made with it!Since our ownership, the boat has only been in the fresh water of the Upper Chesapeake Bay and has either been stored on a trailer and or in a high and dry.The boat was professionally repowered with a new 5.7 MPI long block in August of 2012. The engine replacement was due to failing manifolds and risers which allowed water into some of the cylinders. Due to this issue and my desire for more power, I upgraded the original 5.0 to the 5.7. The computer module was sent out to a company in CA to be re-programed for the upgraded engine swap. The boat has 188 hours on it. The flame arrestor cowl shows 5.0, but this is only because it was not replaced. The boat does 47 mph on gps.The exhaust manifolds, risers, gimbal bearing, shift cable and bellows were replaced in August 2012.Thru hull exhaust was installed in 2012 too. This exhaust is split and diverts the exhaust through the hull and through the drive at the same time. There is no option to switch between the two. This diversion allows for a nice throaty sound, while not being over bearing and a conversation can be held in the cockpit while underway. The lower and upper outdrive units were replaced with new ones in the summer of 2014.The four blade stainless prop in in great condition and allows for a great hole shot, handling and top end speed. The exterior of the boat in really good condition. The bottom paint could use some touch ups and or complete removal. The swim platform has some small dock rash areas that were repaired by the dealership we bought the boat from, though by now, it could use some touch ups.The interior is in really good condition too. The interior carpet is removable and the cabin allows for sleeping and or sitting. Im 62 and my wife is 59 and we have comfortably camped over on the boat dozens of times. I can lay out fully inside the cabin without an issue. Three to four adults can sit around the table in the cabin comfortably too.The boat and floor are full fiberglass construction, so no concern about soft spots! All navigation lights work, the radio works and was recently replaced with a Kenwood head unit and four Infinity speakers. The VHF radio works and has a newer antenna with stainless steel antenna bracket. The boat has a freshwater system with a 10 gallon holding tank. This system worksThe toilet is a pump out system and this works too.Lenco electric trim tabs are mounted under the swim platform and they work. The bilge and blower works. The boat has adequate storage throughout, with several storage pockets and drawers in the cabin and a large locker in the floor of the cockpit with several storage bins throughout the cockpit along with a large storage locker in the transom/swim platform area of the boat. The trailer is a 2004 LoadRite with decent tread on all four tires.Boat is registered until 2018 and the trailer is currently tagged.I have clear titles in hand for boat the boat and trailerWe are only selling because we bought a larger boat this past winter.Asking $20,500The boat is currently located in Middletown, DEThanks,Nick
