2000 Maxum 2400 SCR low hours on engine. 25'3" length. This boat runs great and has a nice ride in the water. She is ideal for trips and weekends at marinas. The air conditioner blows very cold. Water heater functions both from shore power or from the engine bypass hoses. Refrigerator runs on both battery power and shore power so you don't have to drag a cooler everywhere you go. Stove functions on shore power or fuel. This boat is ready to go with a turn of the key. She is a great boat that we have updated/repaired about everything in order keep her running great and give us peace of mind in the water, no matter where we are. Currently she is very low maintenance. Bow light is remote controlled and navigation lights are functional for nights on the water. Chartplotter/fishfinder works great for programming in favorite spots and navigating. Our shore power cables, and optional adapter for standard wall plugs are included. The battery charger works great for keeping the batteries topped off.A big concern when looking at used boats should be the overall condition of the boat, engine, and the fuel tank. Our fuel tank has been replaced and the engine/outdrive have been replaced. I have receipts for the repairs and can show an interested buyer.
- Boat cover is around a year old and does a great job of keeping the interior dry and clean.
- She is powered by a Mercruiser 5.0 engine that was purchased from the Mercruiser and installed locally on 4/11/2014. New starter, alternator, and distributor were also installed at the same time.
- The outdrive is an Alpha Gen II that was purchased from Mercruiser and installed on 6/20/2014
- Fuel tank custom built, holds 75 gallons, and within the last 18 months.
- Batteries have under a year on them
- New fuse panels installed
- Water heater replaced while the engine was out of boat for new fuel tank just because there was clearance to install a new one and we wouldn't have the opportunity again without pulling engine.
- New bennett trim tabs installed
- Boat comes with multiple props
- Generator is a Kohler 5ECD but is running under frequency and needs to be looked at
- Several gauges are faded from the sun
- The trailer has had new rims/tires/springs/wheel bearings installed 7/14/2014. We also had two new bunks installed in the middle. I was told when the new bunks were installed that we could remove the two white carpet covered ones on the outside because they were no longer needed but never saw the need to.
