Boat is probably in better shape than ANY 2005 X45 around. I have put significant time and money into making sure this boat is in great shape, cosmetically and mechanically. The boat has NEVER seen salt water, and is a freshwater boat that is always wiped down and rinsed after EVERY use.Selling this boat as I am making plans to move up north between now and next season and will no longer have a need for this toy.Boat is fully paid for, has a clean Texas title, in my name, and in my possession (no liens). This boat is the king of the lake. There are very few wakeboard/ski boats larger than this, and the ones that are cost 3x what this one does.It has the 8.1L L18 engine, with plenty of torque. I feel these boats, as big as they are, need the 8.1L rather than the 6.0 or 5.7.I have receipts for all the work that's been performed on the boat, as well as all parts. I have put over $14,000 into the boat over the last year in upgrades and maintenance, with no expense spared. The boat is stored in a fully enclosed dry storage, and is always dried fully before being put up (including wiping down all interior compartments). I am a perfectionist, and have made sure everything in this boat is functioning the way it should be. I have ALL RECEIPTS for all work performed and upgrades made on the boat.
Boat currently has around 530 hours. I'm using it on a regular basis still, so hours will go up, however not by much, as the majority of the time we just use it to drive somewhere, drop anchor, and hang out on the boat.Obviously the boat is 12 years old, and thus has some NORMAL wear and tear on the interior. I would rate the interior a 8/10, and exterior a 9.5/10. All lights and other functionality is in perfect working order. There is a scratch on the exterior graphics on the drivers side that blend into the graphic pretty well, so it's hard to tell it's there unless you are looking for it. That's the only imperfection on the exterior of the boat. The trailer has recently been serviced and the surge brakes work perfectly (again - I have the receipt)The boat and trailer have been buffed and waxed and considering the age, are in excellent condition.- Cockpit heater (2 port - driver and removable passenger vent)- Integrated pump for 'boot soap' (lubrication)- Forward and aft tower lights- Center attitude adjustment plate- Cockpit and Transom stereo controls- Tandem axle trailer with new spare tire and new spare tire cover ($60)- Extended twin bimini top (covers 2/3 of the boat) - Can be deployed as either a single (typical) bimini, or the extended- Hot/Cold water shower- Snap in carpet- New underwater gear (rudder, prop, driveshaft, etc) ($7800) (had to replace some components and decided to do all underwater gear while I was at it. I have the old gear as well so you have spares).- New horn ($250)- Full detail of the exterior of the boat, including repair of all minor chips/dings- Full mooring cover AND full snap-on boat cover. Both in good condition- New carpet on all trailer bunks and tie-downs ($400)- New Fulton F2 3200lb trailer winch ($160)- New Fulton F2 1800lb trailer jack ($160)- New swim platform mat and brackets ($800)- Upgraded and replaced both bilge pumps with high output 750GPH pumps ($300)- Automatic flag deploy ($750)- New trailer pole guide covers- 12" Aftermarket Pioneer subwoofer and amplifier (in addition to 10" JL Audio subwoofer)Boat comes with the following extras, in excellent condition:- Three (3) fat sacs ($500 value) and Tsunami pump ($125)- Several NEW CONDITION ropes including mooring ropes, wakeboard ropes, bungee ropes, surf ropes, ski ropes ($450)- Airhead 2 person tube ($450)- Two anchors ($125)- 36qt Marine igloo ice chest ($60)- 14.7 x 19.5 OJ prop ($700)- Prop puller kit ($175)The engine runs strong, and I would have no hesitation running it at 5k RPM for an hour straight. It's a reliable engine, and I've put dozens of hours on it without any major issues. Cylinder 8 has slightly lower compression than the other cylinders, but various mechanics have told me that the compression is still easily high enough to be firing, and that I shouldn't worry about it as the engine is healthy. The boat has VERY seldom seen 5,000RPM on the tach, and typically my 'cruise' speed is between 4 and 4.5k
Deposit of $500 is due within 24 hours of auction closing, with full payment within 2 weeks. The boat is stored in Conroe, Texas, and the buyer is welcome to schedule a time to look at it in person. I have been as honest and thorough with my description as I can be.
EDIT:To answer some of the questions I've been receiving -
- Carpet: Yes the boat does come with carpet. I would say the carpet is in 7/10 condition. Carpet in these boats gets torn up quickly, and I actually just purchased new snap-on carpet earlier this year. However I seldom use it, so it's folded up in the storage- Power: I have had 15 people on the boat in the past, and it will still get on-plane without going over 5k RPM. That's with 2700+lbs of people, so obviously it will take a few seconds more. There is (in my opinion) no engine better than the Indmar 8.1L. The torque the engine has is just incredible. The boat is rated at 18 people, but it can get uncomfortable with that many. Typically I have 11-12 people and I've found that's the perfect amount. Enough 'natural' ballast to wakesurf without having to fill up the ballast tanks, and still gets on plane within seconds.- Underwater gear: You can take a look at the old parts I pulled off to see that there is nothing wrong with them - they were replaced just because with the work I was having done on the boat it made sense to put new components on. The ones that were removed (rudder, strut brace, etc) could serve as spares.- The sound system is stock with the exception of the subwoofer and subwoofer amp. It has an aux input in the glove compartment that we'll plug phones/ipods into. The system sounds GREAT - I have not upgraded it only because i'm very happy with the sound quality and volume.- I have taken the boat to the same marina, and they can vouch for how well the boat is taken care of. They have a valet boat launch service which I consistently use, and I have had many comments from the staff on how well the boat looks and is taken care of.- Shipping: I will drive the boat up to 150 miles free of charge, but anything beyond that I would need to work up some reimbursement method. It is preferable for the buyer to organize shipping/towing from the marina, but if that's not possible I will work with the buyer. This needs to be arranged prior to the auction ending.- Reason i'm getting rid of all the equipment (anchors, ropes, fat sacs, tube, etc) is because I'm planning on leaving Texas entirely, and have no use for it. There is NOTHING wrong with any of the equipment i'm giving with the boat. At all!- HOURS: Can't believe I forgot to add this to the listing. Boat has just under 500 hrs.
