Mastercraft X-80

The X-80 is the best Wakeboard boat that Mastercraft evermade. With features that seem foreign to water-sports boats like an enclosedhead and a full wet bar this boat is an all-around family fun boat that cantackle open water as well as bigger lakes and is yacht certified. Theresroom for 15, so it excels as a day cruiser, and its powered by twin engines!Of all the x80s, this is the one powered by twin Crusader Twin 375-HP 6.0 IHOV Drives.

I bought this boat in 2017 as a project of love, to rebuild anx80 from the best year (IMO). The boat was originally used on the great lakeswhen I purchased it. Over the last 3 years I have completed approximately 85% ofthe rebuild with just a few items remaining, including a complete rebuild ofboth engines. I have completed the following:

Our family owned a Carver with twin Crusaders and they wereby far the best and most reliable engines I have ever known, true solidworkhorses. These engines have less than an hour since rebuild as the boat has onlybeen on the water to trial the engines when they were dropped back in. Theseare the ONLY TRUE SALTWATER engines that Mastercraft dropped into their boats soif you ever do decide to take it to the Florida Keys for the weekend you wonthave to worry about ruining your boat.

IMPORTANT! - The BOAT IS NOT COMPLETE hence the low pricebut majority of the work has been done. The only thing remaining is:

-There is electrical work to be done. You willneed to purchase or create a boat harness (both engines have new harnesses) inorder to tie the helm to the engines and get the electronic dash to work. Ihave purchased 2 new MMDC boxes ($3K) that you can use or bypass the MMDCs entirelyand go analog. The engines and the electronics need to be tied together.

-I had intended to repaint the boat once themechanical work was done, but its not required. The Gelcoat is in good shape andwith a polish it will last a long time. The hull was coated when I purchased it(due to it being used in the great lakes) and it is more practical to have itpainted to me at least as I can beach dock it without worrying about scratches.

Other than that, this boat is a GEM! You can see the amountof work and time and money that was invested and if you are looking for thebest opportunity to own an X80, this is the best value out there period. Unfortunately,I have been so busy with work I just dont have the time to continue to work onthis project. I own my own company and its a busy year for us so its with aheavy heart for sure that I am letting it go. I go back and forth all the timeand may change my mind before it sells so I reserve the right to end this auction at any time . It is an outstanding boat. I mentionedthe engines, the interior is beautiful, the stereo is SUPER LOUD, clear I hadcustom LED lights made for the cup holders and speaker rings so its crazy atnight. By far my favorite thing is the CUSTOM TEAK SWIM PLATFORM! Its truly oneof a kind. I had commissioned by Teak World Enterprises (the company that makesteak platforms for current Mastercraft boats) and it is HUGE and STUNNING. They have NEVER made a swim platform this big let alone for an X-80.

The boat is currently resting in Southport NC. IT IS FOR SALE AS IS WITH NO WARRANTY. You can take a look at the boat but I will not sea trialit for you because it isnt finished. Please read above, the electrical workneeds to be completed. This rebuild is FULLY DOCUMENTED.
