1978 Mastercraft classic stars and stripes in factory root beer brown metallic flake. This has been a great little wake skate boat, but our family has just outgrown it. I had a fully rebuilt 302 with an edelbrock marine carb installed last year by Rick's boat repair in Central Point, OR. I also had the entire exhaust system, including manifolds replaced at the same time. (Spent $3500 having all that done) We've had it out 3 times since... so there's less than 2 hours on the new motor. I've owned this boat for about 6 or 7 years and have done the following work to it... New motor, custom bimini top installed, new lexan windshield, new graphics package, (the previous owner installed a stereo... I put in a pair of nicer speakers), installed cleats and quick detach rod holders, and put new wheels and tires on the trailer. Things on my list I never got done and would still benefit the boat include new interior carpet and fixing the stuck fuel gauge. The boat has both an auto bilge, and the factory bilge... the auto float valve has stopped working but the factory bilge runs great. Of course there's not much need, as the boat doesn't leak or take on water anyway. Prop is in great condition as is the driveline. Runs smooth, no cavitation at all... and at full speed runs 42-44 mph. The rear trunk was a previous owners project, and should probably be removed. I was planning on just dropping in one of those water filled fat sacks. Other than that... she's ready to pull to the lake today! With 2 kids now and 5 nephews and nieces always in the mix... I've just run out of room. Plus we've taken up paddle boarding anyway. I'm happy to answer any and all questions that I'm capable of. (I'm not a mechanic by any means though) Additionally, I'm happy to meet a shipper and help load the boat if you're out of the area. (the trailer is included in the sale... I don't think the tail lights work, I'll have to check on that) I'm sure a wire got wet somewhere. At any rate.... I'm ready to move this along to a new home, and the price is a steal compared to similar stars and stripes I've seen both local and here on classifieds board. In fact, at a third of those other boats listed price... I basically just want the cost of the motor and exhaust back out the deal! Thanks for looking! Dave
