1990 MasterCraft Maristar 240SC
2 owner boat 209 original hoursI am the second owner of this boat, I purchased it this summer from the original owner. It was stored indoors for the past 4 years. We picked it up to use it a few times this summer and have some fun, I planned on keeping it but we are buying a house. I bought the boat with 180 Hours on it. After I bought it I did some very minor work on the engine as it was sitting for a few years. The engine is the 351 ford V8 with a 4 barrel carb. I changed out the oil twice to flush it out, changed out the plugs. I had the carb rebuilt just to clean it out from any old gas goo left around. The gas tank when I bought the boat had maybe 5 gallons of gas in it which I drained and ran fuel cleaner in the tanks to get the old stuff out, and added a new fuel filter. I put a new raw water pump on it, not just the impeller but the whole pump. New battery, 4 new speakers and a new stereo/cd player with remote and USB, Android or Ipod controls. I also put 4 new tires on it that have no more then 1000 miles on them. I have 2 new exhaust flaps ready to install that will be done before the auction ends.I had the boat buffed out and polished to bring back the shine, it looks great. There is a very couple VERY Minor scratches that you would not see unless I should them to you. The interior is 100% ORIGINAL and in awesome condition, not one single tear in the seams or vinyl. The carpet is in great condition and the floors are solid. This boat has an amazing amount of storage for all the toys. The cabin has 2 seats to relax in and the forward bed. It also has a porta potty for the wives and daughters. The cushions are in good condition and there are 2 small rips you can see in the pictures. Really not a big deal I just wanted to make sure you know about it. We also put a brand new bimini top on it before we went on a week long trip to Lake Mojave. The boat comes with the original heavy duty Mastercraft cover that is in good condition, has 1 small tear on the port side but works
fine. The boat runs outstanding and is a super solid boat. This model and size are pretty rare to find on the West Coast and there is a entire forum dedicated to them on the Mastercraft forum site. The top speed with the existing original 3 blade prop I had was around 45MPH, i was going to switch it out to a 4 Blade ACME prop for a little more top end but never got the chance. The boat is great for skiing it has plenty over power to pull you out and an easy wake on a longer rope. The boat is great for wake boarding, wake surfing and death tubing. If you added ballast for wake surfing it would be a huge wake like the newer boats make. This boat has never touched salt water, I brought it here from ArizonaIf you have any questions please feel free to contact me at phoneI will be posting a couple videos of it running and maybe one we have out on the water.
