Questions
I wish I had it back, but it's not worth a possible divorce. I owned the boat from summer 1987 to 2002 when I sold it to a friends son Ted Briscoe and I even helped him install the tower on it. I totaled out the original Master Craft trailer and ordered that trailer for it through David's Sport Center in OKC. The boat was a little banged up but just scratches in the gel coat and David's did an excellent job repairing. I also had them install a New Rub Rail that is not the original. I had a local welder make the Double Receiver Hitch removable tongue, it was his design. I then bondoed and smoothed out the angle iron to trailer transitions & Painted & re-pinstriped it. The Interior is not Original either, I ordered the skins through David's Sport Center from Master Craft. They are like the originals but a different material. Original material was porous ( more like fabric) and hard to clean and was not available anymore. I think I did that in about 1996. I have a 2004 Glastron GX205 now that is Black & Sand Color that my parents bought when they retired & they never used. But I did & they gave it to me last year. Now I am paying for Insurance & Boat storage again. Here is a youtube Video of me 10 years ago back barefooting with a one foot toe hold https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0DCLF2jNOfQ
So did you Remove the tower and have the holes patched? The boat looks really good, Good luck selling it.
Very interested in your Mastercraft....I was the Mastercraft dealer from 1985-2006 in Spokane Washington and I have a waterski museum exibit at our store....I am looking for a 1985 to put in the museum...looking for one with the original interior being in great condition, since you can't get that upholstery material to cover a bad cushion....what kind of shape is your interior?
