Manufactured by Inland Marine Corporation, which was a division of the Globe Corporation, this 1948 14 Globe Mastercraft is one of approximately 269 of this model produced. How many that are in existence today is a mystery but some experts say that there are less then 5 known and this is certainly the nicest. Designed by the famous designer, Brooke Stevens, near Lake Geneva, WI, they were produced from 1948 to 1950. Designed for high speed and amazing maneuverability, with maximum safety, the all mahogany Globe Mastercraft packs plenty of power a 45 h.p. Graymarine enginePowered by a 45 horsepower Gray Marine 4 cylinder, the boat runs great and starts up with no problems. Weve had the boat out on the water where it performed flawlessly and drew loads of attention.. The condition of the boat is nearly flawless with a high quality restoration being performed just a few years ago. All of the wood is in great condition with no imperfections to note. The white vinyl seats inside all look great with no staining or wear. On the bow you will find an extremely rare bow light that was designed by Brook Stevens. This light is said to be highly treasured and impossible to find
