1990 Mastercraft 240 SC

This 24' long ski-boat is the largest inboard ski boat Mastercraft ever made, and the ONLY one ever made with a Cuddy cabin. This one is loaded with modern updates (read below). AWESOME for cruising on lakes or on the ocean, as it has relatively high gunwales and a closed bow large enough to actually sleep in....but more importantly, great for kids and/or guests who want to get out of the spray or out of the sun. The boat is pale grey with black accents--gelcoat is in fine condition. Excellent in rough water. The wake is flat at ski speeds, and huge when loaded up for wakeboarding or even surfing!BRAND-NEW FORD 351 ENGINE WITH 10 HOURS ON IT. This boat has many, many new parts including new shifter-cable, and a totally NEWLY REBUILT TRANSMISSION with only 20 hours on it. This was a complete, professional re-powering with all work documented at Rex Marine in Norwalk, CT. (I will definitely be taking a huge loss on this one, no joke--my loss is your gain.)- Dual batteries with control switch.- Drained & cleaned fuel system.- Orca (closed) cooling system--perfect for salt-water use if desired.- Dual axel aluminum trailer by Continental; recently re-packed bearings & 2-year-old trailer-specific tires.- Snap Cover.- Rhino-lined teak swim-deck and fish-cooler cover.- Reupholstered approx. 5 years ago--in good condition.- Pioneer high-power marine stereo with bluetooth, usb, and CD- Wakeboard tower with wakeboard racks, 4 speakers. Stereo with 5 channel amp, subwoofer, 4 tower speakers, new marine speakers inside.- New throttle cable- Brand new OJ 4-blade prop- Many new engine parts from starter, to fuel pump, etc.- Brand new Edelbrock 4bbl carburetor & tune-up- This does NOT have the Perfect Pass shown in one of the photosIn my opinion it is the best ski boat ever made for the northeast--especially for boating on the long island sound. Only used in salt water a few times--never stored there. Bottom-painted only 1 year ago. Registered currently. This is a really big, comfy boat with plenty of power--great for cruising, camping, wake boarding, surfing, or skiing.Solid. Runs great every week. No real issues.
