Marlin Wizard

I have a 1960 wizard boat. Model: marlin. These boats are super rare. Especially w the optional hardtop. Shortly after 1960 the company changed names and styles. The hardtop makes the boat in my opinion. It looks like a cool car from that era. This boat is not lake ready. I bought w plans to restore but just don't know if I have time. The hull is in great shape and I have no doubt that it'll float and go though the water as is. No soft spots- there is oxidation on gel coat. Interior looks like its been sitting outside for 10 years... All frames and cushions are there they just need to be redone. All trim is there and the windshield is good! The windshield and hardtop are by far the coolest part of the boat. The only issue with the hull is the transom. It has started to delaminate. The motor is bolted to it firmly and the previous owner said it has been like that since he had it in the water 3 years ago. Just want to be upfront on what I have uncovered. The Boat has 115 hp mercury outboard on it. I believe it to be an early 80s motor. The serial numbers are legible if we need to figure it out. Motor does turn over and fire. Ive heard it idle for short periods of time when we squirt gas into the carbs, but the tank is not hooked up. Wedidn't want to run gas through the tank bc we had no idea of its condition even though the tank looks solid and rust free. I have no doubt it'll run after it's cleaned up and gone through. Good condition trailer w good tires. The trailer has good title in hand. I just registered the boat so it has current Arkansas registration and insurance in my name. I'm open to offers on splitting it up and parting out. Ideally it all goes to someone that wants to restore- it's really too cool to part out and deserves to be restored to its former glory...
