Since I haven't gotten back to repairing my fishing boat, my wife wants it to go to someone that has time to finish it or make money on parts. This 18' Marlin open-bow has a tri-hull and rides very smoothly. And the 165 mercruiser in-line 6, when running is AMAZING. Unfortunately the engine needs a new head gasket, and the to interior needs work from the Sacramento sun - BUT would be a tremendous fishing, hunting, crabbing (never got to do this) boat that you don't need to worry about your dog, or blood & guts! The trailer is in good condition with $450 worth of new tires and spare, and new bearings with less that 100 miles on them. The trailer also has break-away hydraulic brakes. "New" rolling jack, 2" ball, single axle. The 2 batteries were new, but likely will need to be replaced if they won't hold a charge. When they are charged they still run the hydraulics and turn-over the motor, but since the motor isn't running they don't stay charged. This package includes 2 motors, 2 outdrives, 2 props in great condition, 2 rebuilt carburetors, and the cherry-picker in the photo with the 2nd motor/outdrive. Also you get a roll of outdoor carpet (will cover the floor), good condition BassPro swivel-seat, back seats and a tote with misc stuff like a new blower, trailer-roller and electronics.I had just rebuilt the motor shown on the cherry-picker with new bearings and rings, resurfaced head and adjusted valves, brand new marine generator and had 1-hr on it before winter, but a freak freeze cracked the block (I asked the shop to winterize it, but they apparently were not honest which is likely why they are no longer in business). So I bought the motor now in the boat, and 4-hrs into driving on the local lake there was water in the oil...Heart broken & discouraged, I never got back to it...I am not going to lie, this is a project, but a FUN boat. I am "old & tired" and will miss my friend, but I have not made time to put it back on the water. The other option would be to part it out for a couple thousand, sell or use the trailer for another boat or something, and sell/use the boat as a hunting blind! ;-) This was my Plan B, but my wife doesn't agree :-(So classifieds board is my Plan C. I don't sell on classifieds board, so not sure if I am doing this right - but I am not asking much, just a little recoup to ease my pain and make my wife happy! Hopefully it will bless somebody with new adventures and memories. If you have questions, Please ask.Local pick-up only. Thanks for looking and considering.
