Mark Twain V-Sonic

1964 Mark Twain V-Sonic with 190 CU/IN, 140HP Mercruiser (Chevy) with Dual Carbs. This boat is in excellent Condition as seen in the photos. I purchased this boat from an estate sale in 2014. The boat was in dry storage (unused) since 1967. The boat did not run when I bought it and the tires on the trailer were flat and rotted. Based on the condition of the tires, gas tank, plugged solid mass fuel

filters and filthy carburetors, this validates the boats 4 decade dry

storage. The boat is now running good with the following completed in 2014: New tires on the trailer, New Battery, Both Carburetors were fully Rebuilt, New Points, Plugs, Condenser, Rotor, Coil, Distributor cap, Fuel Pump, new Fuel Filters, oil change, new Water Pump and lubrication in the stern drive. The gas lines were rotted and the gas tank under the bow is rusted internally. I purchased an 11 gallon plastic gas tank that I keep in the back of the boat and ran new gas lines. If you want to restore the original gas tank, it is under the bow and will need to be removed.The following does not work on the boat: Radio, Fish Finder, Speedometers, or Tachometer. All the lights work, the bilge pump works and the horn works. It has a spot light on the bow that is controlled by a handle on the dashboard. The boat starts and runs great and runs about 40 MPH with 4 adults. On fresh starts, gas is sometimes required to be added to the front carburetor, but once its warmed up its starts on its own.Boat comes with a full fitted canvas cover and stern cover for storage, two 1960's anchors and rope. It also comes with a clean white original top as shown in the photos. You will note is the photos how clean and in excellent shape this boat is in. The interior (Seats, Dash...) looks brand new with no wear. As you will note in the photos, the trailer could use a paint job but functions well. The trailer lights worked when I bought the but since I live only 2 miles from the boat dock, I have not used them. The trailer should be road worthy for pick up and travel but, no guarantees. This boat is being sold as is, and I will not accept any responsibility once sold. I have done my best to accurately describe the boat.The boat is located 75 miles due East of Wichita, Kansas in Fall River, Kansas.
