Thisboat will need engine work. It was a very well maintained boat as it isin good shape overall. We hooked up a shop battery and found that the engine would not crank. With further inspection we found the starter motor was removed for replacement and was missing. We tried to turn the engine by hand but found that it was stuck. We don't know if it is seized from sitting or if it suffers major internal damage. It does however look very clean with little rust. The power trim works very well and thestern-drive is clean and it shifts in and out of gear well with no knownissues. The steering works smooth as well. The boat is rigged nicely witha hook up for dual batteries with selector switch.
Cosmetically the boat looks good but would benefit well from acompound and buff/wax.The cockpit decks arerock solid and very nice for fishing being fully molded non skid fiberglass. The swim platform is soft and flexes a bit when you stand on it. The cockpit cushions are in good shapeand still very soft. The full mooring cover is in good shape and has preserved the interior nicely. The cabin ishas some mold/mildew on the headliner and there are no v-berth cushions. There is a headbut no toilet is installed. It is designed to fit a small porta-potti. The bimini top is in great shape and folds up nicely with bootto trailer. Please view all the pictures below this ad to judge the condition yourself.
The Venture trailer shown is in good shape and is a year 2000 model. It is available for $1000.00 additional to final bid price if needed. It is in good shapeand has torsion axle suspension. The bearings are fineand the tires are good. It may need lights but we are unsure as we did not test them. The fenders are plastic and broken but no big deal to replace. It has a transferable Massachussettstitle and will be easy to transfer into your name.
