Up for auction we have our Labelle 43 trawler . We are selling her as a project as she has been sitting unused for the last 2 years , WHAT YOU SEE IS WHAT YOU GET AS IS WHERE IS , the pictures you are looking at in the listing were taken 2 weeks ago, so this reflects exactly what the boat looks like at the moment . Everything you see in the pictures conveys with the boat . To give you a brief history of the boat it is as follows , We purchased the boat up in Maryland around 5 years ago , it was originally in Annapolis Maryland , around two and a half years ago we motored "Bounty" from Annapolis down the ICW , to Florida then across Lake Okeechobee and the up to Clearwater Florida where it has been ever since .It has been sitting pretty much unattended until recently . My brother had originally planned to restore her slowly but 2 years later it is still pretty much sitting untouched and I think the reality of having too many other projects more pressing has made us realize it is time to sell . I have used a title service in the past who can handle all aspects of the sale including transfer of the Documentation after the sale is concluded , Bounty is able to remain in the same marina in Clearwater if required , however storage will become the responsibility of the new owner upon completion of the sale . As you can see from the pictures the interior does need some clean up , there are some panels that are showing signs of water damage I would recaulk all the windows , some of the windows that have cracks I would replace , it does not affect them as far as being watertight but cosmetically they could look better . The engines which are twin 6 cylinder Volvo Penta Turbo diesels which have not run in close to 2 years , I did have a mechanic take a look at them and he told me I was looking at $2500 to $3500 which would bring them back to running condition which included replacing the starters which I have already done , I purchased new ones which are currently on the boat but not installed , the Starboard engine needs a new piston and liner on cylinder # 4 . I do not know the condition of the generator , I know it does turnover and did run . At this point you are buying a project , I am making no promises , it does have potential for the right person , at this point I want to cut my losses and move on as I am sitting in Maryland and do not want to spend my time everytime I come to Florida trying to work on "Bounty" . I stopped the mechanic working who has left all the parts neatly in the back cabin as pictured . The things I have had done recently and by recently I mean early December 2014 are the following , I purchased 2 new starters , 3 new batteries , a new shorepower cord , I made sure we have 110V running through the boat in order to be able to use the outlets etc when I am on the boat , purchased a small independent marine battery charger to make sure the batteries are kept charged for the bilge pumps . replaced some of the bilge pumps made sure the others were rewired and working including replacing the hoses . All of the above was done in early December 2014 . This is a project boat and she has been priced accordingly , It is an awesome project for the right hands on person, would make a great liveaboard , you can own a $60,000 to $100,000 trawler for far less than retail market value and there is a reason for that it needs TLC . Sorry to keep stating the obvious but people often expect a perfect boat and don't really pay attention to the listings . As a quick side not there is a contract currently on one at $99,000 which you can see in the yachtworld listing , that is not to say that they are actually paying that much but you get my point . With all the above said please only bid or make an offer if you actually have the money to pay for it , We may consider TRADES but need to know what you have before and if you would like to trade then we would like to see a picture beforehand .My first choice would be to be paid all in cash but I am open to offers . Storage costs $480 per month in a great marina in Clearwater , the boat can remain at the same marina or you can move it to a cheaper marina if you choose to , if I was keeping the boat I would take it and have it hauled out the water sometime in the near future , check through hull fittings strainers etc that way you have peace of mind that everything is in good condition below the waterline . Again keep in mind she is a project boat , that is why it is being priced accordingly , if you think you are going to go down and be motoring off into the sunset in a day please look for a more suitable boat . if you realize this is going to take time and effort to get it back to clean useable condition then lets talk and see if we can make a deal that works for both of us . Please feel free to e-mail me with any questions and I will do my best to answer them , lastly my request is please before you actually make an offer be prepared to follow through with it , I don't want to waste my time or yours for that matter .
