This boat is in great shape. It has never been abused. In recent years, I have had the purple fiberglass refurbished from the sun fading, and the Malibu stickers replaced. The engine has had regular oil changes. I have replaced the fuel pump and battery in the 2013 season. There are a few nicks in the bow's crease above the tie-up eyelet. The teak swim platform could probably use re-finishing.

I'm selling our family's 1997 Malibu Sunsetter VLX ski boat. It is in great shape, only 280.5 hours. It has a strong Idmar Monsoon 320 HP engine, for quick planing on the water. My sons have moved west, so we don't use it much. I am the original owner. It is a great family boat for skiing, tubing, or wake-boarding. 2,950 Lbs. Lots of storage, a glove box, and a drink cooler. Accommodates up to 11 passengers, 4 blade prop, top speed 49 MPH. New AM/FM radio, CD Player. 4 new speakers. Two new marine batteries (one extra). 3 Year old custom made boat cover. I also have an anchor, bumpers for use when docking, ropes and hooks, and an extension pole.The boat has been regularly maintained by the original Malibu dealer. It has never been "winterized" or stored outside. In Winter it has always been kept in a heated warehouse. Other accessories available for purchase, ie. 2 tubes, a slalom ski, two pairs of skis, two tow ropes, child's trainer skis, and life vests of all sizes. Local pickup in greater Detroit area.
