The motor was shipped with a Cowl that has the "250" HP graphics on it by mistake.Boat "cruises" at 34MPH while enjoying 2.8 MPG, Top Speed is around 45 MPH (at around 2.1 MPG)There are some transom issues, (please pay attention to pictures) in 1992 two aircraft quality aluminum plates were bolted to each side of (and through) the transom, and in 2015 a submerged rock was hit at speed and created a stress crack as seen in picks. As part of the insurance claim a survey was done and what I was told was that the transom does indeed (like almost all Mako's of this era) have moisture. I have documented all of this in the pictures and am taking into account in the final price I am looking for the boat. The surveyor said there are no strength or safety issues and no flex in the transom as pressure is applied to the motor end by lifting hard. . I have been using the boat for 3 seasons in its current condition with no issues. The skeg has been replaced with a stainless steel one as seen in the pictures. The Deck/Floor is rock Solid, I'm 6'1 250 lbs and can jump up and down on it all day with no give at allTrailer is in decent shape and has all paperwork, new leaf springs and hardware were installed 2 years ago, the tires have some dryrot , the hubs are decent and roll with no load,I am trying to describe the boat as accurately as possible in an effort to not waste anyone's time,Most Boat pics were taken in Summer after cleaningI know what the motor is worth, but am not insane with what dollar amount would buy boat, trailer and motor. I am motivated to selland it well sell with a fair bid...NO RESERVE. boat being offered locally for sale so I am reserving the right to end auction early in case of sale
