Fall 2017: Installed new shower sump, new salt water pump for washdown, new macerator pump, new 8-D battery, new radio with Bluetooth and speakers (new pair of speakers in the salon and new pair of speakers on the flybridge), new anchor light and pole to extend beyond flybridge bimini, and new cockpit wing panels.
Flybridge Canvas (15-years old) in good condition.
Two Anchors: Danforth with 150' line/6' chain and Plow Anchor with 100' all-chain rode.
When Seller purchased vessel, there were indications of cockpit deck delamination aft of the ladder to the Bridge. According to the previous owner, this has been present since 2014 and they regarded it as a cosmetic issue. Seller was apprehensive about the validity of that response so had on-land and in-water marine survey conducted as condition of purchase and findings regarding hull integrity/seaworthiness/soundness appear below.
Generator inoperable for the past 3 years (since previous owners ownership). Seller enjoyed 3-day weekend outings with 4 people aboard monthly without needing a generator, so was not a priority repair. As you can see from the above summaries of May, Summer, and Fall 2017 improvements, the seller has exercised significant care/made significant repairs in high priority areas.
ELECTRICAL SYSTEM (PER 2017 MARINE SURVEY REPORT)
The 12-volt, 2-wire DC (direct current) electrical system is inspected visually and tested with all devices in service. The main 12-volt DC distribution panel with breakers is organized, labeled and mounted out of the weather inside the Salon.
There is one new 8D lead acid battery mounted under the lower Helm sole, one new Group 24 lead acid battery located by the generator and one Group 27 deep cycle battery located under the V-berth.
The 8D battery is for the engine starting circuit and house system, the Group 24 is for stating the generator and the deep cycle under the V-berth is for the windlass. The batteries are secured in acid proof boxes. The positive posts are covered.
Charging the batteries is accomplished with a Xantrex Tru-charge, 20 amp, 120 volt charger located on the starboard side below the inside Helm station. The engine alternator also charges the batteries.
The system is also serviced by dash switches on the Helm, which are labeled. Battery cables are color-coded and the system components are properly secured and serviceable.
The twin 125 VAC 30 amp (alternating current-shore power) system is equipped with a main panel board with circuit breakers mounted on the starboard side of the lower Helm console. Dual shore power inlets service the system. They are mounted on the starboard side of the Cockpit. The installation is completed to marine standards and is in serviceable condition with correct polarity. Terminal connections are clean and with good contact.
MAJOR STRUCTURAL MEMBERS (PER 2017 MARINE SURVEY REPORT)
The major structural members (hull, deck, hull to deck joint and interior structures) were inspected visually, through sounding with a phonemic, resonate hammer, and with the use of a Novanex GRP-33, when this was appropriate. The soundings were good throughout. Sounding throughout the hull provided well-refracted tones.
