Up for sale is a 1989 Mainship open/express. We have owned this boat since August of 2006 on Lake Conroe, TX, which is a land locked fresh water lake. We are the third owner, previously owned in Miami and the Great Lake area. She spent some time in salt water, but that was eight years ago. Since our purchase in 2006, she has been in a covered stall at our local marina. In 2013, she received a rebuilt starboard engine, rebuilt top side port, and installed new genset. She is mechanically sound/ solid and shows well. In 2012, she received bottom paint, and all underwater rigging was removed, professionally tested to be true, and reinstalled. Transom underwater lights were also installed. The bottom looks great and rides smooth without vibration. The previous owner painted the entire exterior in 2003, which still has a good shine do to her being stored under cover. All-in-all, this is a big, reliable, low maintenance boat. It is not a 2013 boat.
We are only selling this boat to upgrade so if you have a newer cruiser of equal or larger size, lets talk. We are interested in trading up plus cash. I also have a 32 fountain fever which will be upgraded in the near future. If you have a performance boat, bigger than a 32 with stock mercruiser power, lets talk.
Please feel free to call me with any questions or concerns. Joe phone)

Fridge stopped cooling (I can have this replaced or next owner can do it his way for less money)
Cockpit floor paint shows wear from general use under cockpit carpet.
Updated countertops in galley will help nextowner but that is only cosmetic.
This boat can be picked apart if you compare her to $150,000+ boats out there. For the money, she will provide her next owner years of enjoyment. This will need to be a cash or trade exchange. Owner financing and probably any bank financing is out of the question due to her age. Thank you for viewing.
