Magnum Marine 27 CC Outboard 1988 - Like Cigarette, Scarab, Donzi Center Console

This 1988 Magnum Marine 27 CC is one of the very few Magnums built originally with outboard engines. At the moment, we believe this boat is the only one of its kind listed for sale in the US. Overall the boat shows well for the age for not being a fully restored boat. Same owner for over 10 years, lift stored, but the boat does have older bottom paint. Up front, the boat has a small cuddy cabin for day time naps or storage. The cabin also has a small sink. The center console has a wide fwd facing seat and a windshield. The dash has newer Faria gauges and there's a canvas cover for the whole console and the helm seats. All the canvas is in good shape. The current owner has also replaced the fuel tank and installed a custom engine bracket to improve the performance of the boat.

The Magnum is powered by twin Yamaha 250 hp 4-stroke engines from 2005. According to the owner, the boat runs about 60 mph with the current engines. NOTE: The STBD side engine developed a knocking sound during the owner's last fishing trip. The problem has not been diagnosed and the owner decided to sell the boat in "as is" condition. Based on the sound, we suspect the engine needs a new powerhead. Both engines do start up with no hesitation. We have not had a chance to scan the engines yet, so the running hours are unknown at the moment. Both trim units need to be repaired or replaced as well.
