1973 Magnum Marine Sport 25!!Very rare twin-engine Magnum boat. All original time capsule from 1973.Original engines and drives that have never been out of the boat. Approx. 1200 hours. Twin Chevy 350 engines. Volvo Penta drives.Only 20 Magnum sports were produced, and this is the only twin engine green one ever to be produced by Magnum Marine in Miami in 1973. Don Aronow & Jim Wynn designed. Don also owned Donzi, Cigarette and Formula brands.Magnum did 63 mph when new. Boat has been out of the water for the past 12 years in dry storage. All original including water hoses, and battery cables from 1973. Spent entire life in Las Vegas at Lake Mead (fresh water) engines are fresh water cooled as well.I am the 2nd and 4th owner of this boat. My family owned it from 1973 to 1979 and I bought it back 42 years later. I was going to restore it, but plans have changed. Very well built and heavy 25 ft. boat.Has cuddy cabin that sleeps 2.Drives are Volvo Penta 280's (not sure though) --they need a rebuild as well. Boat was last running and in Lake Mead in 2010.Magnum is a project boat and needs complete rebuild. Once completed this boat can be worth a lot of money. Original green paint, this boat also was the cover boat for the brochure for Magnum in 1973.Owned by lifelong boater and performance boat enthusiast.Includes: 1977 Steel Custom trailer that was built for this boat in 1977. Last year we spent $5,000 on a complete trailer rebuild including 6 new tires and all new lights, bearings, brakes, hubs, tongue, chains ect.
