This is a Lyman Ideal rowboat that is also rated for a 5hp motor, The rowboat oars and related locks were long gone when I purchased it many years ago. It has had what appears some fiberglass added onto the keel area that is trying to come off. It also will need the rub rail outer boards on each side replaced as they are broken as is some of the side seat brackets. These boats were sold by Lyman to liveries that rented them out at amusement park/city park lakes etc. and were very popular boats for them. As most stayed outside they had a hard life.I have seen 2 of these that has been restored and they are really pretty. Sandusky Ohio maritime museum has an Ideal with an optional sailing kit added. It sets on what appears to be the original trailer that I replaced the bearings/seals and tires years age before pulling home. I can not find a hull # but I have read that they built these from 1948 through about 1960. I had good intentions of doing this restorations but after many years of moving it around in the barn I finally decided to sell it so maybe someone else will restore it. Any questions please call phone before 9:00 pm CDTPayment will be cash onlyPayment will be cash only

Questions
Hello, I was wondering if you'd consider a trade for the ideal. I tried contacting you through the Antique Boat Center but their contact link isn't working. I used to work at the Antique Boat Center, just finished a 13' Lyman and would love to take this on.
I have an early 1960s rustic sign from the former Bonanza Sirloin Pit Restaurant chain. The restaurants originated in the Kansas City area in the early 1960s following the popularity of the Bonanza TV series and was franchised nationwide. Items from the restaurant are collectible (check out ebay) and this sign is an early one as it is galanized steel lettering on solid oak plank. All of the others I have seen are plastic and illuminated, this is hand made and would have been the centerpiece of the restaurant hung just above the entrance. It measures 12' 6" long and 4' tall. It has heavy duty hardware to hang it, as it weighs about 200lbs. I would be wiling to deliver/pick up
Is this boat available ?
I rowed these as a Junior lifeguard and actual lifeguard in the 1950's. Is there any known rot? Have you used the boat at all? Has it been left outside since your ad began runnng more two years ago? Is the trailer reasonably safe? What is your asked no price? Thanks.
Is this boat for sale?
Is the 1948 Lyman 13' boat still for sale? If so, is it in Annapolis? Looking forward to your reply. Thank you
