1975/2006/2014 24 Lyman Biscayne Fiberglass Straight-Inboard Utility Runabout Phosphorescent
2006 repower. New fresh-water-cooled (heat exchanger/anti-freeze) engine with stainless fuel tanks and Teleflex helm and steering cable. ~ 800 hours since re-power. Very strong and well-maintained engine.
Painstaking full restoration in 2014. Everything restored or replaced except the 2006 items and the solid fiberglass elements of the boat. No detail overlooked, no expense spared. The result is a stunning, reliable classic with a head-turning vintage aesthetic, state-of-the-art equipment, and low-maintenance finishes throughout.
Phosphorescent (Phossie) shines as a picnic boat, and her upgrade to windlass only adds to her ease of use. Her expansive aft cockpit with high coamings makes for a very comfortable fishing platform. In keeping with her utilitarian nature, Phossie is also an excellent ski/wakeboard boat, complete with a straight inboard engine, teak swim platform, Teleflex ski-boat control (single shifter gear/throttle), stowable stainless tow pylon, and shapely wake. And thanks to her upholstered vee berth and marine head with holding tank, Phossie is even a proven cruiser for the spartan couple. In 2016, the owners took a week-long, 200-mile cruise between Long Island, NY and Block Island, RI, berthing on the boat every night. This experience inspired their recent purchase of a larger boat that is better suited to cruising.
Elegantly bridging the gap between classic styling and modern convenience, Phosphorescent is a very special boat offered at an extraordinary value.

Questions
Hello,
Happy Holidays to you.
I am interested in your Lyman Biscayne. Would you let me know if it is still available?
Have a good rest of your day.
Thank you and best regards,
James
Hi
I have a 1974 Sportsman I am going to re-power and would love to pick your brains on what you experienced.
I'm going for a 300HP Mercruiser Horizon inboard 350. She'll fit nicely but the rotation is different than the 318Chrysler. So i need to change props. The 1 1/8" diameter shaft is okay.
When you re-powered, did you have to go to a left hand rotation prop?
Did you upsize the prop?... stay with a three blade? Stainless, brass or aluminum prop? What prop specs can you provide? diameter, pitch, prop make?
Thanks
Karl Ray ***
Does the trailer come with the boat? If it was listed, I missed it. When was the boat first listed and is it still available?
Is the boat still available? I’m from Sayville.
