Fast and fun is what our 1961 18' Lyman is with it's newly tuned 1961 twin 40 HP Lark Evinrude engines. This boat has new red canvas and cushions plus two 1961 refinished folding wooden boat chairs with matching backs and seats - eye stopping!

Our boat, with it's nearly 7 foot beam and built in 25 gallon gas tank has a whole lot of "people space", hence the antique deck chairs.

Everything on the boat is in excellent condition. Sandstone colored Nautolex covers all the floor boards for non-skid and easy cleaning. All the seats are solid mahogany with many coats of varnish.

A new single-cable steering system, a Teleflex No Feedback System was installed a few years ago. At the same time both motors had new starters for easy starting.

The original launching trailer has been re-wired and painted red to match the color of the canvas, and tows great.

Great looking boat. Still for sale? I understand "as is" and no warranty, however, could you comment briefly on any wood repairs or refastening already below the waterline? My youth in a 1956 Lyman 18' at Boston Harbor, so I am quite serious and simple on the subject. Thank you for your attention to this inquiry.
