I am selling my 1971 LUHRS 33 ft Sportfisher/cabin cruiser. The remarkable thing about this vessel is that I am only the second owner of this vessel. The previous owner had Luhrs build it for him, and he loved it and maintained it for over 40 years, and finally sold it to me three years go. . I was attracted to this vessel because of the meticulous records he kept and the reputation of the build of Luhrs vessels. Also, I knew he owned an aircraft business and was an electrical engineer that took very good care of his boat just as he did his aircrafts. There are many log books he kept that are indicate how meticulous he was. These are included in the sale. The vessel has a one piece fiberglass hull that is extremely thick, which Luhrs is famous for. They are reputed to be the strongest fiberglass hulls, built like a tank, and are very agile on the water. I am pushing 80 years old now and it is time for me to part with this beautiful vessel. This Luhrs has been well taken care of, it is one of the cleanest Luhr interiors you will find with beautiful teakwood accents. It is equipped with twin Chrysler 318 marine engines with freshwater cooling with twin raw water heat exchangers. They run very well. One of the engines is a newly remanufactured Marine Chrysler just put in this past summer and has only about 10 hours on it. I use Mobil One Synthetic oil in them and they run like new, No smoke or oil issues. The list of includes equipment includes a nice Boston Whaler tender complete with its own 2 hp Johnson outboard. It has a new ship to shore radio, and is mechanically very good running condition. The interior comes with everything you need to make it a comfortable liveaboard or overnight cruiser. Including: T.V. hookups (cable), and a spacious salon for dining and sleeping that includes a restroom and V-Birth/Stateroom providing comfortable sleeping quarters for passengers. It has sleeping area for 6. Excellent boat for deep sea fishing with plenty of room all around. If you are out of state, there are many companies that can deliver the vessel to you.
